Founder
Lynn Norris
Lynn Norris is the Founder & Principal of Authentic Yacht Charters — more than a decade in the yachting industry across charter operations, sales support, and financial management.
Her background spans Select Yachts, Luke Brown Yachts, The Yacht Vacation Company, and Silent Yacht USA. A licensed CPA and Penn State graduate, she runs the books the way she runs the fleet: precisely.
Base Manager
Andre van der Linde
Andre keeps the base. More than a decade at sea stands behind him: three Atlantic crossings under sail aboard catamarans, a fourth aboard a superyacht, thousands of nautical miles in his wake. It is the kind of experience that needs no embellishment.
An Officer of the Watch (OOW) 3000 GT and qualified RYA Sailing Instructor, he holds the technical command the role demands and the composure to match it. He has led large crews and run complex operations; under his charge, a charter simply works — measured, safe, and held to one standard.
He is there when guests arrive, alongside the skippers, and across every detail of the day. The aim is constant: that each voyage begins well and is remembered long after.
Fleet Manager
Jana van der Linde
Jana has the fleet in hand. Six years in the maritime industry sit behind her, across yacht operations, luxury hospitality, and business development — a range few acquire and fewer master.
She has worked as Assistant Superyacht Chef, Chief Stewardess, Fleet Operations Coordinator, and Senior Portfolio Manager, and carries each of those vantage points into the role: fleet management and client relations. She has seen a yacht from the galley to the portfolio, and it shows.
Precise by nature and hands-on by choice, she pairs operational command with a feel for service that cannot be taught — the tailored gesture, the detail attended to before it is asked for. Under her care, the fleet runs to one standard.
